Building better creative through systems, leadership, and execution.
Creative direction isn't just about making better work anymore. It's about building the systems that make better work possible.
Brand, process, people, technology, execution — all of it shapes the outcome. The strongest creative organizations aren't just visually excellent. They're operationally clear, strategically aligned, and built to scale.
Levi Lowell is a Creative Director, AI builder, and design systems leader with 15+ years across enterprise brands, startups, and boutique consulting. He currently leads creative at Shutterfly, where his work spans site, CRM, performance marketing, print, and product storytelling — the intersection of brand, digital experience, and the operational systems underneath them.
He's built brands, led teams, redesigned workflows, launched SaaS products, and helped organizations rethink how creative operates in an AI-first world. Enterprise design systems on one end, independently built software on the other. Same goal either way: less friction, more impact.
Outside of work, he's a father of three and most at home north of the cities — at a cabin, on a gravel bike, in the woods, floating in the middle of a quiet lake. Equal parts strategist and maker. Whether he's building brands, systems, or something with his hands, what he's after doesn't change: clarity, usefulness, and things that last.
